After such disappointing results in their recent games, Bundesliga champion, Bayern Munich were able to end their season in a positive fashion by defeating Mainz 2-0 with goals from Robert Lewandowski along with Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Similar results arrived for Borussia Dortmund along with Hamburg as they also picked up all three points on their final games this season.
Dortmund defeated Werder Bremen 3-2 in a match which also marked the end of Jurgen Klopp’s reign at BVB as he will be leaving next season.
Meanwhile, Hamburg avoided relegation as they grabbed an important 2-0 home victory against FC Schalke, but that still doesn’t secure them as just yet since they must play a play off battle against second division side, Karsluher SC.
