FC Basel are set to face an important second leg of their Champions League tie against FC Porto this midweek and despite playing away, the Swiss side’s head coach, Paulo Sousa is confident with his team’s chances.
Speaking to the media on their latest news conference, Sousa stated that his team’s latest performance in their league fixture gave him the believes about their ability in overcoming Porto.
Although admitting that they will be facing a tough match as Porto is very strong, Sousa confidently stated that Basel can cause many problems for their opponent.
Drawing 1-1 in their first meeting, Basel must score to erase the slight away goal advantage that Porto picked up from that previous fixture.
