Barcelona continue to splash their cash in this summer transfer window as the club confirmed that they have reached a deal to sign Portuguese international, Andre Gomes from Valencia.
The Catalan side confirmed that deal on their social media page while adding that the midfielder will officially signed and presented to public next week.
Being part of Portugal’s Euro 2016 winning squad, albeit not being considered as the starter, Gomes is considered as a potential talent who reportedly was also courted by Real Madrid.
However, without much fuss, it was El Barca that suddenly completed the deal reportedly worth 50 million Euro, in which The Catalan side are expected to pay 35 million first while there’s also additional bonuses which could reach up to even 55 million.
It will be interesting whether this expensive signing means that Barcelona will be selling one of their current players as rumors are stating that some names might be leaving Camp Nou this summer.
