Barcelona tactician Tito Vilanova admitted that he was concern when seeing Lionel Messi got stretchered off the pitch in Blaurgrana’s Champions League tie against Benfica on Wednesday.
Vilanova also said that Messi himself was very quiet about it, even after the doctor checked things up with the Argentinian.
Barcelona will obviously be missing Messi’s presence should the striker went out for quite a while, but recent reports said that it’s not a bad injury.
The striker got injured just before he attempt to equal Gerd Muller’s goal scoring record in a season.
