Arsenal Confirmed Lacazette Capture from Lyon
Arsenal’s hunt for a new striker finally comes to an end as they have officially announced the signing of French international attacker, Alexandre Lacazette, who was brought in from Lyon.
The deal was announced by Gunners’ official website, adding that Lacazette will also be participating for the club’s upcoming preseason tour which will be heading to Sydney this next weekend.
Although official fee for that transfer is being undisclosed by Arsene Wenger’s side, but rumors from the media claiming that it’s a club’s record breaking spending worth around 53 million Euro.
Wenger himself also voiced out his delight with the signing, stating how Lacazette is not just an efficient goal scorer, but also an attacker that is technically exciting and mentally strong.
Having been courted since quite a while, it’s to be expected that the 26-year-old will immediately placed as Gunners main attacker in the manager’s line up for next season.
Wenger certainly hope that his club’s success in acquiring a top attacker can somewhat regain trust from their die hard fans, who have been craving for this type of signings for a while now.
The tactician will also expect that his new star striker to blend in quickly with his teammates and formed an exciting front line to help them compete in next season’s Premier League.
