Arsenal Beat Man City for Another FA Cup Final Ticket

Not having the best of time in this second half of season, Arsenal still preserving an opportunity to grab a trophy as they made their way into FA Cup final following an extra time victory over Manchester City.

Playing in a one way tie, both sides were pushing hard for that elusive victory, since it’s their last shot at winning something this season.

Unfortunately, neither were able to score during the first 45 minutes as it was certainly a tight encounter between two teams desperate for glory.

Man City started off better after the break as they went on and take a one goal lead through Sergio Aguero’s effort on 62 minutes.

However, Gunners were able to bounce back less than 10 minutes after conceding, thanks to their defender Nacho Monreal who scored a fine close range finish.

With both teams failing to get that winning strike during 90 minutes mark, that tie went into an extra 2×15 minutes.

Both sides continue to push hard during that extra time, but it was Arsenal that got themselves the massive winning goal as Alexis Sanchez scrambling inside the penalty area to snatch his 24th goal of the season in all competition.

Despite all of their efforts, City failed to catch up their opponent’s as Pep Guardiola’s men have to accept their failure of winning any accolades this season.
