Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo could see himself getting into Champions League hall of fame this midweek by becoming the competition’s all time top scorer if he managed to score two goals against Liverpool.
Having that record breaking personal achievement is obviously a tempting situation for the Portuguese international, but his coach, Carlo Ancelotti believes that Ronaldo will still put Madrid’s success ahead of individual glory.
Ancelotti obviously keen on seeing his team grabbing another three points and ensuring their qualification into the knock out stages of Champions League this Tuesday, instead of seeing his player breaking record but not giving a win for them.
Although Madrid are on a positive run at the moment, but taking their opponent for granted can be dangerous, especially in the Champions League, that’s why he is ordering for focus for their battle against Liverpool this midweek.
