Ancelotti Confident With Madrid Super Copa Shot Despite Home Draw

Real Madrid couldn’t get a win in the first leg of their Spanish Super Copa battle against city rival, Atletico at Santiago Bernebau, as both teams drawing 1-1 in that match.

However, that result doesn’t scare off Los Blancos, head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, who remain confident that his team can turn things around at Vicente Calderon, especially if they put on similar performance as they did on that first leg.

Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid boss, Diego Simeone also acknowledge Madrid treats for the second leg as he warned Los Rojiblancos players that they can’t count on getting a 0-0 result.

Although snatching a goalless draw would be enough for Atletico to win the Super Cup, but Simeone believes that Madrid have too much fire power  up front so it’s very unlikely not to see them score any goals even at Vicente Calderon.
