Juventus officially secured their place in the knock out stages of UEFA Champions League after defeating Manchester City 1-0, much to the joy of Bianconeri head coach, Massimiliano Allegri.
Allegri stated that it was a good game from both sides and delighted that eventually Juve got all three points which sent them through into the next round.
Meanwhile, Man City’s manager, Manuel Pellegrini was disappointed with his team’s defeat as he consider them rather unlucky to pick up such result.
Although City already secured their knock out stage ticket before that midweek game against Juve, but Pellegrini was targeting to come out as group winner.
Following that defeat, Pellegrini’s men must battle for all three points on their final group game, if they are still keen on finishing top of their group.
