Albania Grabbed First Win in Euro

Albania were able to keep their hope of staying in Euro 2016 alive following a historic victory over Romania on Sunday, thanks to Armando Sadiku’s goal.

Already losing their previous two matches, Gianni de Biasi’s men carry a slight hope of getting into the knock out stages as best third place team.

Nevertheless, that slim hope didn’t let Albania down as they keep on putting on a solid display, just like what they did on previous games.

De Biasi’s men spirited performance was eventually rewarded on 43 minutes through Sadiku’s headed goal, giving his team a slender lead going into half time break.

Romania tried hard to get themselves back into the tie, but can’t seem to find a way through pass their opponent as until the final whistle was blown, Albania were able to maintain their one goal lead.
