Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has insisted Carlos Tevez will not be allowed to leave on the cheap following reported interest from Italy.

Tevez’s uncertain future has led to AC Milan declaring their interest whilst Juventus and Inter Milan have also been linked with the Argentinean. However Mancini has insisted that despite what has happened, the player will still command a high transfer fee if he is to move on.

Mancini said, ‘Tevez is strong regardless of what has happened. And great players have a price that is rather high’.
