Barclays Premier League – Saturday 19 November 3pm

The Premier League’s final two unbeaten sides go head to head on Saturday as Newcastle make the daunting trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City. The Blues sit top of the table after 10 wins and one draw from their 11 games and could extend their lead to eight points with Manchester United not playing until 5.30 pm.

City striker Sergio Aguero faces a late fitness test on a groin strain whilst Owen Hargreaves continues to miss out. Skipper Vincent Kompany returns from suspension but AWOL striker Carlos Tevez will not be considered.

Newcastle have also enjoyed a wonderful start to the season, winning seven and drawing four of their opening 11 matches. They also boast the best defensive record in the league and sit third in the table.

The Magpies will once again be without key midfielder Cheik Tiote with a knee problem whilst Sylvain Marveaux is also expected to be sidelined. Leon Best (groin) and Gabriel Obertan (toe) are also doubts but at least one should be fit to play.
