Florent Malouda said everyone at Chelsea are rallying around John Terry. Malouda has been impressed by how Terry has handled revelations about his private life.
He said :”I’m really impressed by the way he’s dealing with that. It’s a difficult time for him, but he has to be strong, he has to perform and he is. He’s an inspiration; it shows me the way a captain has to be. He cares for the club. We know he has problems away from football and he has to sort his problems out but we are focused on results. We’re not thinking about the personal case.” Malouda nodded at the suggestion that such a media firestorm would not engulf the private life of a public figure in France. “You want me to say the English are mad?” he laughed. “I won’t say that but there is passion around the game here and everybody wants to know everything. When you are a footballer in England you are a public person. I don’t want my private life to be in the papers, but it is something you have to accept.”
