Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong is being monitored by Real Madrid, after talks about a new contract at City hit the ropes.
The tough-tackling anchorman’s current deal runs out at the end of next season and the two parties are yet to reach a suitable agreement. De Jong wants parity with the top earners at the club whilst City do not see it in the same light.
