Wolfsburg climbing up into the fourth place set of current German Bundesliga standings following a home win over Hoffenheim this weekend.
The home side went ahead within seconds after kick off as Max Kruse finished off Julian Draxler's assist to give his team that one goal lead.
Six minutes later, it was 2-0 for Wolfsburg when Bas Dost got his name in the score sheet.
Hoffenheim were not giving up easily though as they managed to pull one goal back from Jerey Toljan's effort.
That tie got back on level terms early in the second half as the away team equalized through Jonathan Schmid on 54 minutes.
However, Max Kruse showcased his prowess as he bagged a hat-trick on that tie, adding two more goals on 62 and 83 minutes.
