West Ham United missing out on the chance to start their Premier League season with a win after being defeated by Tottenham Hotspur this Saturday.
Both teams were determined in grabbing all three points, especially Spurs as they're keen on showcasing their potential this season.
However, it was West Ham that had the better of exchanges during that first 45 minutes especially after Spurs were forced to play with 10 men when Kyle Noughton got sent off.
That sending off also resulted in a spot kick for Hammers which unfortunately was missed by Mark Noble, leaving the score line tied at 0-0 as both sides go into half time break.
Nothing changed much after the break as Spurs were having difficulties in pushing forward with a man down, while West Ham can't seem to finish their chances.
Eventually, it was the away team that had more luck on their side as they got that important winning goal deep in stoppage time through Eric Dier's effort.
