Grabbing consecutive victories certainly giving positive morale boost for Manchester City, but further test lies ahead of them as this midweek Manuel Pellegrini's men facing up against West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns. Man City have been very strong when playing at home this season, but the same thing can't really be said with their home form, something that Pellegrini keen on fixing starting from this Wednesday, December 4.
West Brom themselves are not keen on giving things up easily, especially as they are playing in front of their home crowd. Steve Clarke's team haven't been performing as consistent as last season, but they still more than capable of troubling top teams, including Man City this midweek.
Man City still continuing their winning run after bagging a thrilling away victory over West Brom this past Wednesday. Sergio Aguero opened things for City with his effort after just nine minutes of play and on 24 minutes Yaya Toure extended his team's advantage, before completing his brace in the 74th minute from the penalty spot. The home side didn't give up easily though as they did managed to pull two goals back through Costel Pantilimon's own goal on 85 minutes, plus Victor Anigchebe's effort in stoppage time.
