Crystal Palace keeping their recent positive run going as they bagged an important victory on the third round of FA Cup battle on Saturday, defeating home team West Bromwich Albion 2-0. Playing away from home didn't stop Palace from putting on a positive approach into that encounter as they were keen on continuing their recent good run in Premier League. That approach was rewarded as Palace were able to break the dead lock on 23 minutes with an effort from Dwight Gayle.
After the break, both sides continue to push forward, especially West Brom as they don't want to disappoint in front of their loyal crowd. However, despite the host's aggressive display, it was Palace that eventually came away with a victory from that battle as deep in stoppage time they extended their lead thanks to an effort from Marouane Chamakh.
