Watford 1-2 Leeds United FC highlights: Watford missed out on the shot to grab automatic promotion into the Premier League after they suffered a disappointing home defeat against Leeds United on Saturday.
The home side were in need of a win in order to snatch that second automatic play off spot from their rival, Hull City. Things didn't look bright indeed for Watford as they conceded a goal just before half time after Dominic Poleon capitalizing on a defensive error at the back. However, the host did managed to level things up in the stroke of that first 45 minutes through Almen Abdi's goal.
In the second half, Watford continue their search for the winning goal, but things looking difficult indeed for them especially after they were forced to play with only 10-men with the sending off for Troy Deeney. From a counter attack, Leeds took advantage over their man advantage as a minute before the final 90, Ross McCormack scored the winning goal for the away side.
