Russian side, Zenit Saint Petersburg grabbed an important result on their Champions League opening fixture as they defeated home side, Valencia on Wednesday.
Zenit made a bright start on that game as Hulk puts them in front after just nine minutes of play.
The Brazilian attacker proved to be a menace for Valencia's back line as he netted his second goal on 44 minutes.
El Che were not keen on going down without any fight as they pushed forward vigorously and did managed to pull one back on 54 minutes, thanks to an own goal from Axel Witsel.
The home team finally got their equalizing goal on 73 minutes when Andre Gomes finishing off an assist from Jose Gaya.
However, it was Zenit that came away with all three points as they regained their lead when Witsel made up for his error by scoring his team's third on 76 minutes.
