Getting eliminated from the FA Cup challenge by their arch rival, Arsenal is not a pleasing result for Tottenham Hotspur, that's why they are really eager to redeem themselves this Saturday, January 11 when they meet up against Crystal Palace in their latest English Premier League fixture. Tim Sherwood's men are still picking up positive result in the league so far and they obviously wan't that positive run going when they host Palace this weekend as another three points will also keep their challenge for top four seat alive and kicking.
However it won't be an easy task in handling Palace as the newly promoted side have been doing well in recent matches, including making their way into the next round of FA Cup after an away win over West Bromwich Albion last weekend. Although it will be hard to face Spurs at White Hart Lane, but the Eagles won't give in easily as they are still in search for points to fully secure themselves from relegation trouble by the end of season.
Spurs still keeping their positive league run going strong as they came away with maximum three points from that weekend encounter against Crystal Palace with a comfortable 2-0 victory. It wasn't a comfortable first early minutes though for the home side as they were close to concede a goal when Palace earned a spot kick, which was unfortunately missed by Jason Puncheon. After a goalless first 45 minutes, Spurs finally got things going with Christian Eriksen getting the opener on 50 minutes, before Jermaine Defoe sealed things off on 73 minutes.
