Tottenham vs Southampton highlights (3-2)

Tottenham Hotspur got back on winning ways this weekend as they defeated their visitor, Southampton in a thrilling contest at White Hart Lane.

It was far from a positive start though for Spurs as they found themselves trailing by two goals after 30 minutes of play as Saints scored through Jay Rodriguez on 19 minutes and Adam Lallana on 28 minutes.

Fortunately for the home side, Cristian Eriksen pulled one goal back just before half time to lift his team spirit as they go into half time break.

After the break, Spurs finally got back on level terms as Roberto Soldado's tireless effort resulted in another goal from Eriksen on 46 minutes.

The host finally turned things around in stoppage time as they grabbed that important winning goal from Gylfi Sigurdsson's effort to give his side an important three points.
