Tottenham Hotspur making their way into the next round of Capital One Cup after snatching a home win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday.
Staging the tie in front of their home crowd, Spurs immediately put on an aggressive effort.
However, it was not easy for the home side to break down their opponent's defense in that first 45 minutes as that period ended in a goalless draw.
After the break, Spurs finally got their break though when Erik Lamela opened the scoring on 54 minutes.
The host sealed their passage in the next stage with a second goal, which was netted by Harry Kane on 74 minutes.
