Tottenham Hotspur ambition in following up their weekend victory fell short this midweek as Tim Sherwood's boys only managed to snatch a point from their home fixture against West Brom at White Hart Lane. The home side were looking really determined in grabbing all three points on that encounter, and their effort was finally rewarded when Christian Eriksen puts them in front with his wonderful free kick on 36 minutes.
Unfortunately, that lead only lasted for two minutes though as West Brom managed to got back on level terms on 38 minutes with an effort from Jonas Olsson. That 1-1 score line didn't just last until half time break as the result lasted until the final 90 minutes with both sides failing to convert any of their chances in that second period. Only grabbing a draw means that Spurs are slipping into the eight place of current Premier League standings, earning 31 points from 18 games.
