Picking up a disappointing defeat in the hands of Manchester City this past weekend, Swansea City are not getting things easy as this midweek they must face an in form, Newcastle United side at Liberty Stadium. Michael Laudrup's men are surely keen on redeeming their weekend disappointment, but defeating Alan Pardew's men is not an easy task this days since the Magpies have been consistently winning, even against top teams.

Nathan Dyer opened the score for Michael Laudrup's men with his goal late in the first 45 minutes. An own goal by Mathieu Debuchy on 67 minutes made things tougher for the Magpies and Jonjo Shelvey's strike eight minutes from team sealed all three points from the home side.
