Sunderland Vs Fulham Highlights:Sunderland had to make a comeback and fight from falling into 2 goals deficit and salvage 1 point thanks to goals from Gardner and Sessegnon. The game concluded with a 2-2 scoreboard and both sides sharing the spoils.
The former player of Manchester United Dimitar Berbatov started the game off as he made no mistake from scoring a penalty set-piece at the 16th minute. The referee allowed the penalty kick to be taken after Gardner appeared to have taken down Ashkan Dejag and some moments later Berbatov just blasted it into the back of the net.
Sascha Riether extended the lead to 2 goals when he only had to make a simple tap-in after Mignolet had denied Dejagah from scoring but this also meant that Riether would score the 2nd goal after being given enough space to slot it home.
At the 37th minute the referee gave away a 2nd penalty but this time in favor of the hosts and Craig Gardner was the man in charge to take the set-piece with a thunderbolt of a strike.
Stephane Sessegnon was the last man to score which ensured Sunderland that they rescued 1 point from this match.
