Tottenham Hotspur got their winning run going again as they bagged another three points this weekend by defeating home team Sunderland a Stadium of Light. It was far from an easy task for Spurs as their opponent were also keen on grabbing maximum result to get themselves out fro relegation trouble.
The home side made a better start in that weekend encounter as they went one goal up on 37 minutes through Adam Johnson's effort. However, spurs reacted well as they got back on level terms with an equalizing goal coming from Paulinho just before half time break. Both sides continue to push forward after the break, but it was Andre Villas-Boas' men that managed to snatch all three points thanks to an own goal from John O'Shea on 50 minutes.
