St Mirren FC 1-4 Ross County FC highlights: There was a battle of relegation candidates at St Mirren Park on Saturday when the host welcome Ross County.
The visitor started their first half brightly as Richard Brittain game them the lead after 22 minutes of play with a lovely free kick which flew into St Mirren's net without any trouble. That lead were held until the half time break as the visitor looking comfortable going into the dressing room.
Ross County tried to continue their effort in the second period, but St Mirren managed to draw level on 50 minutes with a goal coming from Steven Thompson. However, the visiting side got back into the lead in the 67th minute through Sam Morrow's goal. Few minutes later, the visitor extend their advantage with an effort by Ivan Sproule on 71 minutes and three minutes later he completed his brace with a fine effort in the 74th minute.
