St Johnstone FC 3-1 Aberdeen FC highlights: St Johnstone won the battle in grabbing that top five place in SPL standings after beating their closest rival Aberdeen this past midweek.
The home team looked really keen on grabbing all three points from the encounter as they push forward right from kick off before eventually taking the lead on 33 minutes through Gergory Tade, who capitalized on the mistake made by Aberdeen's defender. However, that advantage was chalked off just before the half time break when Nial McGinn netted home the equalizing goal.
Both teams were going all the way after the break, but it was the home side that regained their advantage with Rowan Vine scoring on 68 minutes, before Dave McKay added the third just two minutes later. Those two second half goals simply sealed the tie for St Johnstone as they grab all three points and leapfrogging Aberdeen at fifth place.
