Aberdeen bagged an important result on their latest Scottish Premier League fixtures after defeating home team St Johnstone this past weekend. Playing away from home didn't stop the visitor from putting on an attacking display as they made a positive start by getting themselves in front through Peter Pawlett after 17 minutes of play.
The away side continue their domination in the second period, especially after St Johnstone were forced to play with only 10-men as Rory Fallon got sent off on 71 minutes. Aberdeen took full advantage over that situation as they sealed their win with a second goal, which was netted by Niall McGinn on 85 minutes. That victory puts the away side sitting in top four seat of current SPL standings with 26 points from 15 matches.
