English League One side, Charlton Athletic continue to surprise everyone as they got themselves in the semifinals stage of this seasons' FA Cup after eliminating struggling Championship side, Charlton Athletic this past weekend. The two teams were caught in a very tight first 45 minutes which saw neither of them able to convert their goal scoring chances forcing a disappointing goalless draw. In the second period, both sides continue to push forward in search for goals and it was Sheffield that got things going as they went one goal up on 65 minutes from Ryan Flynn's strike.
That opener paved ways for Sheffield to further dominate proceedings as they double their advantage two minutes later with an effort from John Brayford. Trailing 2-0 down was simply too much for Charlton as they can't seem able to find a way back into that tie as until the final whistle was blown Sheffield comfortably holding on to their two goals lead and made their way into the semifinals stage of that competition.
