Milton Keynes Dons got their English Championship season off to a brilliant start as they defeated Rotherham United away from home convincingly.
The away side immediately put an aggressive display as their effort was rewarded very early when Robert Hall puts them in front after just five minutes.
Rotherham reacted well though after conceding that early strike as they snatched an equalizer on 13 minutes through Matt Derbyshire.
However, an own goal from Danny Collins on 28 minutes gave Milton another advantage as they sealed the first half with a 3-1 lead after Dean Bowditch scored on 35 minutes.
In the second half, Rortherham failed to find a way back into that match as it was MK Dons that eventually sealed all three points after scoring their fourth goal from Carl Baker's effort on 75 minutes.
