Ross County FC 1-0 St Johnstone FC highlights: Ross County continue their attempt in climbing up into the Scottish League table after picking up an important victory over St Johnstone on Saturday.
Playing at home, Ross County didn't waste their time in trying to take control of proceedings and also scoring early to maximize their opportunity in grabbing all three points. The host's ambition was rewarded after just 11 minutes when Ivan Sproule struck a wonderful long range effort from just oustside of the penalty area.
That goal triggered St Johnstone reaction as they're keen on grabbing an equalizer, but unfortunately their effort didn't get any positive reward as they couldn't break down their opponent's defense. Luckily for the visitor, Ross County also failed to maximize their effort as they hold on into that 1-0 victory for anther week.
