Already losing out on the La Liga title chase last weekend, Real Madrid still manage to end their season in a high after grabbing a comfortable home win over Espanyol.
Playing on the final day of Spanish La Liga fixture, Los Blancos were determined to produce something special for their loyal devotees.
It was not an easy task though for Madrid players to overcome their opponent, especially during the first 45 minutes where Espanyol held them into a goalless draw.
Things finally opened up though for Carl Ancelotti's side as midway into the second period they broke the dead lack with a goal from Gareth Bale on 64 minutes.
Alvaro Morata doubling his team lead four minutes from time, but Espanyol created a nervy ending when Pizzi pulled one goal back on the 90th minute.
However, one minute later, Madrid finally sealed all three points on that tie, thanks to another effort from Morata.
