Reading Vs Aston Villa Highlights: Reading failed to hold onto their lead as Aston Villa managed to recover from their defender scoring an own goal and despite this, the visitors came from behind and sealed a 2-1 victory for them.
Aston Villa travelled to the Madjski Stadium to play against Reading in a match that was equally as important for both sides. With each club struggling to keep their heads above water and avoid the relegation spot it was crucial for them to get hold of all 3 points.
The 1rst goal arrived at the 31st minute in a moment of confusion for Nathan Baker as he tried to clear the ball away from his own box but instead just blasted it into the net of his own team. The defender had plenty of time to blast it away from danger but it just got horribly wrong for him.
Fortunately for Baker, his team got right back into the game with Benteke scoring the equalizer only 1 minute later. He was left with more than enough space to receive a pass from Andreas Weimann and find the equalizer.
With only a few seconds remaining on the 1rst half Gabriel Agbonlahor scored the winning goal with a thunderous shot that made the difference and squeezed the victory for Aston Villa.
