Nottingham Forest's attempt in pushing their current Championship standings into a much better place was slightly held last midweek as they only managed to grab a point against Reading. Playing in the new dawn of 2014, both teams were really eager in snatching maximum result as they put on an attacking display straight from kick off. It was Forest that got things going as they snatched a goal after 36 minutes of play through Greg Halford's effort.
The home side tried their best in getting back into that tie, but they were facing difficulties in breaking down their opponent's defense as Forest put on a solid display on that match. However, just went it looked like the match is heading away from Reading's grasp, they managed to salvage a point when Stephen Kelly netted home the equalizing goal deep in stoppage time.
