Vitesse Arnhem still holding on their current top spot in Dutch Eredivisie standings after grabbing a convincing 6-2 victory over PSV Eindhoven this past weekend. Both sides were looking really eager to snatch maximum points in the first 45 minutes as they were pushing hard since kick off.
Vitesse got themselves in front with a goal from Lucas Piazon on 38 minutes, but that lead was canceled out just before half time break as PSV leveled things through Memphis Depay. In the second half, it was the away side that showed a more convincing display as they bagged five more goals from, Mike Havenaar, Kelvin Leerdam, Davy Propper, Patrick Van Aanholt and also another effort from Propper in stoppage time. The host themselves only managed to grab one back in that second period, through Karim Rekik.
