Highlights: Sampdoria was dropped to 10 players since the referee gave marching orders to the goalkeeper Sergio Romero after he had fouled Biabiany inside his own box which resulted in leaving his team 10 men and a penalty for the opposition.
The penalty kick was kicked by the former Juventus player Amauri who made no mistake in netting the 1rst of the game. Things got worse for Sampdoria after Amauri found the back of the net for the 2nd time, this time with a header that he dispatched and the goalkeeper not being able to do much about it.
Eder did give a lifeline to Sampdoria when a penalty was awarded to them and without much difficulty he scored the 1rst for the home team. They continued giving it everything they had trying to at least equalize the score and earn 1 point from this match but Parma managed to hold on with their lead and claim all 3 points.
