Paris Saint-Germain continue to showcase their domination at the top of French Ligue 1 standings as they bagged an important home win over Lyon this past weekend. Eager to keep their gap at the top of table, PSG were putting on an aggressive display since kick off and they got themselves in front after 36 minutes through Edinson Cavani's effort.
The capital side extended their lead just four minutes before half time break, this time from Zlatan Ibrahimovic's penalty kick, giving his side a comfortable two goals lead as they go into half time break. PSG didn't stop their attacking play in the second period which resulted in two more goals, which were netted by Thiago Silva on the hour mark plus another spot kick by Ibrahimovic.
