US Citta di Palermo 2-3 Udinese Calcio highlights: Palermo's hope of staying in Serie A is getting bleak after they grabbed another defeat this midweek, suffering a 3-2 loss against their visitor Udinese at Renzo Barbera.
After witnessing Juventus' confirming their Serie A title last weekend, Palermo were keen on getting themselves back on winning ways when they host Udinese on Wednesday. However, things were not looking good though for the home side as they conceded a goal after just nine minutes of play through Luis Muriel's effort. Rossanero did managed to level things up before half time when Fabrizio Micolli coolly converted a spot kick on 34 minutes.
In the second half, Udinese got themselves ahead again on 64 minutes with a fine flying header from Gabriele Angella. Palermo got back again though as Abel Hernandez scored on 81 minutes to make it 2-2, but it was the away side that had the final say when Mehdi Benatia scored withing a minute later.
