Manchester City ended their international champions cup friendly tournament with a slight disappointment after suffering a defeat from Olympiacos via penalty shoot out.
Already able to play many of their first team players, Man City were looking dominant indeed as they control proceedings since kick off.
After wasting several goal scoring opportunities, City finally got themselves in front through Stevan Jovetic's lovely effort on 35 minutes.
However, that lead only lasted for two minutes as Olympiacos were able to get back on level terms with an equalizing goal from Dimitrios Diamantakos on 37 minutes.
After the break, both teams continue to push forward in search for more goals and it was City that got in front once again, this time from Alexander Kolarov's spot kick on 53 minutes.
The Greek outfit refused to give things up easily though as they drew level once again with another fine effort from Diamantakos on 66 minutes.
With both teams drawing until the full 90 minutes, that tie goes into penalty shoot out which was won by Olympiacos after a tight kick out which ended 5-4 for the Greek outfit.
