Nottingham Forest 2-1 Millwall FC highlights: Nottingham Forest secured their passage into the next stage of England Carling Cup after a tiring encounter against Millwall this past midweek.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Forest looked really keen on snatching a victory by pushing hard for goals since kick off. After a disappointing first 45 minutes which saw both teams failing to net any single goals, the host got themselves in front through Matt Derbyshire's effort on 58 minutes. The away side managed to level things up with an effort from Liam Feeney four minutes from time.
That score line triggered an extra time as both sides couldn't snatch any more goals during that 90 minutes mark. Forest eventually snatched the all important winning strike when Jamal Lascelles netting home in 93 minutes.
