Nottingham Forest's ambition to get themselves into playoff zone suffered a blow as they were defeated by Birmingham City on the weekend.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Forest were determined in giving their fans a special gift, by grabbing all three points.
That plan didn't go well at all though as instead of dominating proceeding, they found themselves trailing on 35 minutes from David Cotterill.
Things got worse for Forest as their opponent were able to grab a second goal, this time through Clayton Donaldson on 38 minutes.
Birmingham basically sealed that tie when Donaldosn completed his brace, just before half time break.
In the second half, Forest still trying hard to get back into that tie, but all they managed were grabbing a consolation goal from Britt Assombalonga in stoppage time.
