Norwich boss Daniel Farke speaking to BBC MOTD: "Football can be the cruelest sport in the world, even the better team isn't there with the well-deserved outcome. I have to come out here and give many, many compliments for this performance today from my players today.
"We played one of the best sides in the league and got the feeling in the second half that we was really, really close to taking this game completely.
"We definitely deserved to take something from this game and after 70 minutes I would disappointed with just a draw if I am really honest because we created really good moments in the second half and controlled their counters.
"Then out of one thing, sometimes you have to pay the price with young lads. Would a more experienced player commit a tactical foul on the sideline to stop that attack.
"Then they switch the play and even then we are unlucky, the defender is perhaps five inches too late and deflected the strike into the corner. It is unlucky and sometimes in football you have to take that.
"I think [the disallowed goal] is a VAR mistake, for a player to be offside they have be taking part in the game.
"Schmeichel is 10 inches taller than Todd Cantwell and he didn't disrupt his view. He is just standing in front of him, he doesn't disrupt his movement. If the cross comes in and McGinn is all alone in the box with Schmeichel he wouldn't be able to save it anyhow."
