Napoli's ambition in keeping their Scudetto challenge on course fell short this past Saturday as they only managed to grab a point from their latest home fixture against Udinese. Playing in front of their fanatic crowd at San Paolo, Napoli looked to take control of situation when Goran Pandev opened the scoring for them on 38 minutes. Moments later things looking much comfortable for Rafael Benitez's men as Pandez completed his brace with a fine finish on 41 minutes.
Udinese were not keen on giving up easily though as they managed to pull one goal back from an own goal by Federico Fernandez's own goal on 45 minutes. The away side continue to put on an attacking display as they got back on level terms with an excellent long range effort from Bruno Fernandes on 70 minutes. One minute later, Napoli regained their lead though through Blerim Dzemaili's effort, but the visitor managed to draw level once again with a close range finish from Dusan Basta on 80 minutes.
