Napoli got themselves into the final stage of Coppa Italia after they turned the tie against AS Roma, winning the second leg battle in a convincing fashion at San Paolo stadium. Losing 3-2 during their first meeting, Partenopei immediately set themselves in an attacking shape and eventually getting in front after 33 minutes through Jose Callejon, putting his team in an advantage with an away goal rule.
Leading by a goal in that second leg didn't stop Napoli from pushing forward as they kept their pressure and adding two more goals in the second period through, Gonzalo Higuain on 48 minutes along with Jorginho three minutes later. That 3-0 victory means that Partenopei lead 5-3 on aggregate and comfortably making their way into the final of that competition, where they will be facing Fiorentina.
