Motherwell FC 4-1 Hibernian FC highlights: Motherwell continue their surge at maintaining that runners up spot in Scottish Premier League after they put on a special performance to beat their opponent, Hibernian on the weekend.
The home side tried to take control of situation straight from kick off as they push forward in search for goals, but instead of scoring they found themselves a goal down after 23 minutes when Tom Taiwo scored for their opponent. That goal lifted Motherwell players' spirit as they kept pushing hard in search for an equalizing goal, but nothing came up in that first period as they go into the break trailing by a goal down.
In the second half, Motherwell pushed really hard and their attempts were soon rewarded as on 48 minutes Michael Hidgon managed to grab the equalizing goal. Soon after that, it was all the home side as they added their second in the 54th minute from James McFadden's effort, before Kallum Higginbotham pretty much sealed all three points by scoring his team's third on 67 minute.
Motherwell didn't stop their goal hunt as just yet though, six minutes before the final 90 they grabbed their fourth on the day with an effort from Tom Hateley. Another important result for the host as they maintained that second place spot for another week to come.
