Motherwell FC 2-1 Glasgow Celtic highlights: There was a shock result in Scottish Premier League last midweek encounter when current league leader, Glasgow Celtic suffered a shocking 2-1 defeat against Motherwell.
The visitor actually started things in their normal commanding fashion, but lack of sharpness when going forward troubled Celtic performance as they couldn't managed to create more problems for their opponent's back line. Instead of grabbing the opening goal, Neil Lennon's men found themselves a goal down on 31 minutes with an effort coming from Chris Humphrey.
After the break, the visitor tried their best in getting back into the game and they did managed to level things up in the 63rd minute through Giorgios Samaras. However, 10 minutes later Motherwell got themselves back in the lead with Michael Hidgon's scoring the winning goal, which stood still until the final whistle was blown.
