Marseille maintaining their top spot seat in French Ligue 1 standings after grabbing a comfortable victory against Bordeaux on the weekend.
Playing in front of their home crowd, Marseille immediately put on an attacking shape as they were hungry for goals.
Combination of poor finishing touch and bad luck stopped the home team from grabbing the lead as the first 45 minutes ended in goalless draw.
After the break, taking advantage of a defensive error it was Bordeaux that got themselves ahead through Thomas Toure.
That lead didn't last long though as Marcelo Bielsa's men got back on level terms with an effort from Mario Lemina.
Marseille turned things around five minutes from time, with a goal from their star forward, Andre Pierre Gicnac.
The home team secured all three points on that tie when they added a third goal from Michy Batshuayi on 89th minutes.
