Suffering from several internal issues in recent days, especially with rumors about potential players departures next summer, Manchester United are hunting for three points this weekend when they host struggling Fulham at Old Trafford. Inconsistent performance are still an issue for David Moyes' men in the league so far, as they can't seem to find that consistent run of convincing form which could push them further in the challenge for top four seat.
Fulham themselves are in a much worse condition, though they still have that spirit in getting back from their current stumbling form. Playing away from home will make things very difficult indeed for the away side, but they will be hoping United's poor form will continue this Sunday, February 9 as that should help the Cottagers in snatching something against their opponent.
It was eventually another disappointing result for Manchester United as they only grabbed a point from that home fixture against Fulham. The home team didn't have a good start as they went a goal down on 19 minutes through Steve Sidwell's effort, which lasted until half time break. However, Man United managed to get themselves back on level terms as Robin Van Persie netted home an equalizing goal on 78 minutes, before Michael Carrick turned things around with his goal two minutes later. Unfortunately, David Moyes' men failed to hold that lead as deep in stoppage time Fulham drew level with an effort from Darren Bent.
